The incident occurred around 2:08 a.m. on Sunday, when an 18-year-old Dearborn man, driving a Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed, lost control of his vehicle while traveling eastbound on Michigan Avenue near Southfield. The car veered off the road and collided with a tree, resulting in a devastating impact that claimed two lives and left four others injured.According to the Dearborn Police Department, the driver of the Charger was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 20-year-old female passenger from Garden City succumbed to her injuries after being transported to a nearby hospital. The remaining four occupants, ranging in age from 15 to 20 years old, were also taken to hospitals for treatment, with one passenger reported to be in critical condition.
