Northbrook Park District and restaurant form food and beverage partnership for summer events

Northbrook Park District Forges Delicious Partnership with Local Landmark

The Northbrook Park District has solidified its longstanding relationship with a beloved member of the local business community. In a strategic move, the district has partnered with The Landmark Inn Bar & Grille to provide mouthwatering food and refreshing beverages at their upcoming outdoor events this summer. This partnership promises to elevate the experience for attendees, as the Landmark Inn's reputation for exceptional cuisine and hospitality aligns perfectly with the Park District's mission of creating unforgettable community gatherings.

Bringing Culinary Delight to Northbrook's Vibrant Summer Events

Elevating the Park District's Signature Events

The Northbrook Park District's partnership with The Landmark Inn Bar & Grille will be on full display at several highly anticipated events this summer. The restaurant's culinary expertise and commitment to the community will be showcased at the Cup-In-Hand Kickball Tournament on July 20th, the Party on the Green on August 17th, and the Northbrook Brewfest on September 7th. Each of these events promises to be a delightful celebration, with the Landmark Inn's delectable offerings complementing the lively atmosphere and catering to the diverse tastes of attendees. The Landmark Inn's co-owners, siblings Helene Kapetaneas and Constantine Kyriazopoulos, have a deep-rooted connection to Northbrook and are thrilled to be part of these community gatherings. "We love working with the park district and we love all the different types of events they have," Kapetaneas expressed. "We see some of our regular customers in a different setting, and we also get to chat up some new people in the process."

Curating Customized Menus for Every Occasion

The Landmark Inn's partnership with the Northbrook Park District extends beyond simply providing food and beverages. The restaurant's culinary team works closely with the Park District to curate menus that perfectly complement the theme and atmosphere of each event. For the Grapes on the Green event, the Landmark Inn's menu featured delectable offerings such as beef sliders with Boursin cheese and roasted portobello mushrooms, as well as mini veggie pitas with roasted vegetables – a perfect pairing for the wine-focused celebration.Similarly, for the Cup-In-Hand Kickball Tournament, the Landmark Inn tailored its menu to include classic favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs, which pair seamlessly with the event's lively, casual vibe and the beer being served. "We love that the Park District has events for different age groups," Kapetaneas noted. "Cup-in-Hand is where the adults get to have fun like when we were kids. Grapes on the Green had an older crowd. Party on the Green is for the whole family and Brewfest is more for adults."

Strengthening Community Connections

The partnership between the Northbrook Park District and The Landmark Inn Bar & Grille extends beyond the culinary realm, as it serves to strengthen the community's bonds and foster a sense of belonging. By having the Landmark Inn's familiar faces and beloved dishes at these events, attendees can enjoy a taste of their local community while creating lasting memories."Helene and Constantine have been exceptional partners to the Northbrook Park District, consistently sharing their love for the community at our special events," said Eileen Loftus, the Northbrook Park District's Director of Recreation. "Their commitment to Northbrook makes each event more memorable and enjoyable for all."This collaboration not only enhances the overall experience for event-goers but also highlights the deep-rooted connections between the Park District, the Landmark Inn, and the Northbrook community as a whole. As the summer unfolds, residents can look forward to savoring the flavors of their local landmark while immersing themselves in the vibrant spirit of the Northbrook Park District's events.
