Madysen's family has a personal connection to the Sanford Pediatric Oncology department, as her younger brother regularly visits the hospital for treatment. Recognizing the importance of supporting children in need, the family decided that the proceeds from the Stars and Stripes Snack Stand would be used to purchase toys and other forms of entertainment for the young patients receiving treatment.
