Upon receiving the emergency call, State Troopers and the Hopkinton Fire Department rushed to the scene. "First responders observed that the vehicle had struck a tree in the wooded area along the highway and was on fire," reported Hopkinton Fire Chief Gary Daugherty. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze using water and environmentally safe foam.

Sole Occupant Transported to Hospital

The sole occupant of the vehicle, the 39-year-old female driver, was transported to a nearby hospital by Hopkinton Fire EMS. The extent of her injuries and current condition remain unknown at this time.
